At StrategicPoint, we encourage our employees’ efforts to give back through company-sponsored and individual volunteer activities. We also help support several organizations through corporate donations and sponsorships.
The East Bay Food Pantry (EBFP) opened its doors to the community in August 2009 with the mission “to engage, educate and empower the East Bay in creating a hunger-free community.” The EBFP serves over 1,000 people each month with more than 5,000 East Bay residents receiving assistance from one or more of their comprehensive Access Nutrition programs throughout the year. The Access Nutrition Initiative encompasses an innovative and award‑winning array of programs offering high quality, healthy foods and nutrition education for all of EBFP’s clients and their families.
Joyful Noise is a private, non-profit agency which was incorporated in 1978 and is located in West Warwick, Rhode Island. They offer several different programs for toddlers, preschool, before and after school, vacation and summer care. Joyful Noise is committed to supporting children’s development and helping to strengthen the family’s home environment by cherishing individual differences, by helping them to learn, to live and to work cooperatively, and by promoting their self-esteem.
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Its goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, policy influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D. As the largest charitable supporter of T1D research, JDRF is currently sponsoring more than $568 million in scientific research in 17 countries.
The Katie DeCubellis Memorial Foundation promotes youth leadership, supporting education and generating public awareness of the dangers of drunk driving and substance abuse. In pursuit of its objectives, KDMF awards annual scholarships and has produced a video series on responsible driving. The KDMF continues to share, pay tribute to and celebrate Katie’s life. “Her life still shines…”
The Providence Animal Rescue League’s mission is to provide for the rescue and relief of suffering and homeless animals and perform charitable or benevolent acts for the welfare of animals. PARL provides compassionate care, medical treatment and adoption services to more than 2000 animals each year.
The Rhode Island Blood Center is the primary source of blood and blood products for the hospitals of Rhode Island while also serving customers in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Working with a variety of sponsors like StrategicPoint, the Blood Center also runs more than 1,500 mobile blood drives annually.
The United Way of Rhode Island Women United engages and mobilizes the power and leadership of women to close the gaps in childhood literacy in Rhode Island, to bring about positive change in our community and to improve the lives of people in need.
FirstWorks is an organization that presents world-class performing arts programs that build the cultural, educational and economic vitality of communities. Since 2004, FirstWorks has engaged Rhode Islanders with some of the most exciting artists of our time and connected over 2,500 students annually with transformative arts experiences through performances, festivals, and education.
