Providence, RI—(July 6, 2016) – StrategicPoint Investment Advisors (‘StrategicPoint’), a RIA based in Providence, RI, today announced the promotion of Christine H. Canapari, ChFC® to Senior Financial Advisor after earning the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) professional designation from The American College. Ms. Canapari will advise clients on a broader range of topics including financial planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, income taxation, life and health insurance, small business planning, investments and retirement planning. She will also continue her role as Manager of Client Services at the firm. The promotion of Ms. Canapari is another example of StrategicPoint’s continuous investment in talent development and client services improvement.
Since joining the firm in 2003, Ms. Canapari has been providing financial planning and investment advice to new and existing clients. Additionally, as the Manager of Client Services, she is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of client care and satisfaction. Ms. Canapari holds the FINRA Series 65 license, as well as RI, MA, CT and LA Life and Health Insurance Producers Licenses. She has been featured as a guest on WJAR/NBC10 with Frank Coletta and is a four year (2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016) Five Star Wealth ManagerSM Award winner, which is featured in Rhode Island Monthly.
Candidates for the ChFC® designation, one of the premier marks in financial planning, must complete a minimum of nine courses and eighteen hours of supervised examinations, as well as stringent experience and ethics requirements. The authority to use the ChFC® mark is granted by the Certification Committee of the Board of Trustees of The American College, and that privilege is contingent on adherence to strict ethical guidelines. All ChFC® advisors are required to do the same for clients that they would do for themselves in similar circumstances, the standard of ethical behavior most beneficial for their clients. The American College is the nation’s largest non-profit educational institution devoted to financial services, holding the highest level of academic accreditation.
“Chrissy’s earning of the ChFC® designation is a reflection of her commitment to serving clients with the highest level of professionalism. The designation adds to Chrissy’s already extensive expertise in financial planning and allows her to strengthen her long-standing relationships with her valued clients. She is well deserving of the title Senior Financial Advisor.” said Betsey Purinton, CFP®, Managing Director and CIO of StrategicPoint Investment Advisors.
